What they are saying:
Ya know Joan, thanks for changing my scars to stars and launching
my life in a new direction. The intensive was the most difficult
thing I ever did, but it changed me. I feel a quiet, confident,
passionate state of peace in me. Thank you for everything.
Johnny U.
The most powerful experience of my life, it changed me completely
and I'm forever grateful.
Cos T.
Wow! I didn't recognize myself until you helped me discovery
who I am. The 5 day Intensive was the best investment I ever made
in myself. I'll never forget it.
JoAnn B.
Who should attend:
Anyone in second stage recovery interested in promoting inner
healing and personal growth. Persons who are active in any substance/ingestive
dependency are not appropriate.
What it is:
The five day intensive was designed to promote optimal growth
and change in a mass time therapy approach. The client has the
opportunity to work in either a one on one or group context during
and utilization of several therapeutic modalities.
These modalities include: EMDR (eye movement desensitization
and reprocessing), NLP (Neuro-Linguistic Programming), Transactional
Analysis, Gestalt Therapy, Sandbox Therapy, Psychodrama, Hypnosis
and Psycho-Dynamic Theory, Inner Child Work in conjunction with
NLP and the Transformation Model developed by John Bradshaw. This
has been a culmination of years of practice and theory, designed
to effect the most positive change in the least time possible.
Due to the fact that so many in-patient treatment centers have
closed due to non-payment of insurance, I felt strongly about
maintaining experiential work which was provided in those settings.
I have made them applicable to out patient mass time therapy,
which allows enough time for change and healing to take place.
The sessions will be held in my office, with intermittent breaks
for lunch and rest time. Homework assignments will be given each
evening. Each person's experience is unique, therefore, your work
cannot be compared to anyone else. You will be asked to fill out
a Life History Questionnaire that will help determine your diagnosis
and treatment. It is important that you first read the following
books:
Bradshaw: On The Family
Healing The Shame That Binds You
Both are authored by John
Bradshaw. There may be others I will suggest depending on
the individual.
This is a strenuous program that places high demands on both
the individual's emotional and physical system. Therefore, it
is important that I know as much about you as I can before you
commence. You are also asked not to use any alcohol during this
time, as it tends to undermine the feeling work. Anyone with a
substance addiction will not qualify for this program.
The cost for this program is $5000.00. A nonrefundable deposit
of $2500.00 is required once a date has been scheduled. The balance
is paid upon the completion. Insurance benefits are not covered
for this procedure.
